Why lick mats work for cats:

Sustained licking triggers the release of endorphins and serotonin in cats as well as dogs, producing a natural calming effect. Lick mats support feline enrichment by slowing eating, reducing food-related anxiety, and providing an engaging sensory activity that satisfies natural foraging instincts.

The SodaPup Goldfish eMat is a small-but-mighty lick mat designed specifically for cats who deserve more from mealtime. Its goldfish-motif surface texture is gentle enough for cats while still holding wet food, fish paste, and yogurt effectively for extended licking sessions. The playful goldfish theme resonates with feline instincts and the small footprint fits perfectly in front of food bowls or on feeding stations.

Who this lick mat is designed for:

• Cat owners looking for feline-specific enrichment products
• Multi-pet households with both cats and small dogs
• Owners of toy breeds, miniature dogs, or brachycephalic breeds
• Anyone introducing lick mat enrichment to a cat for the first time
• Veterinarians recommending slow feeding or anxiety reduction for cats

How to use the SodaPup Goldfish eMat for cats:

1. Spread a thin layer of wet cat food, salmon paste, or plain yogurt across the surface
2. Place on a flat, stable surface at floor level for easy cat access
3. Allow your cat to lick at their own pace — do not rush the session
4. For extended sessions, freeze the loaded mat for 2–4 hours before serving
5. Clean top rack dishwasher or hand wash with mild soap after each use
